Memorial Message:
Tippy was one of the funniest members of our marching band. He went to college pursued a career that allowed him serve the people of Atlanta as one of the most popular Gospel Disc Jockeys on WAOK before he died. He is missed in the Gospel radio industry and in the Church. He had a way to make folk laugh when they were down and out. I saw his nick name-and thought about him. I am nit sure of the year when he died, but I know that he died because so many any Atlanta were saddened by the Homegoing of Mr. Leonard "Tippy" Calloway; a Bass High Warrior.
